Doich Edible Cookie Dough Review: We Tried 4 Flavors (Kid-Approved Taste Test)

If your house is anything like mine, cookie dough doesn’t always make it to the oven.

So when we got our hands on Doich edible cookie dough, it turned into a full-on family taste test. Basically cookie dough roulette, which you might’ve already seen over on TikTok and YouTube.

We tried four different flavors, and I’m breaking down exactly what we thought. What’s worth it, what surprised us, and what I’d actually buy again.

A Few Things I Love About This Brand

Before we even get into flavors, a few things stood out to me right away:

  • Gluten-free and vegan (you would never know)
  • No sacrifice in taste or texture, which is rare
  • It’s a Scottsdale, Arizona-based company, which I love supporting
  • It can be delivered straight to your mailbox
  • Just refrigerate after opening and you’re good to go

But beyond all of that, there’s something else I really loved about this.

It feels indulgent in the best way.

There’s something about sinking a spoon into a tub of cookie dough that just feels a little luxurious. Like a small moment that’s just yours.

And the best part?

It’s only 80 calories per serving, with 8 servings in a smaller tub.

So you get that cozy, indulgent treat without the guilt. It’s one of those simple pleasures that doesn’t cost much, doesn’t take effort, and still gives you a moment to yourself. I feel like we all need more of that.

My Favorite: Chocolate Chip (No Contest)

This one was easily my favorite, and it’s going to be a regular in our house now.

What made it stand out:

  • The oatmeal texture gave it more substance
  • It felt more balanced and not overly sweet
  • It’s the kind of flavor you actually keep going back for

I’m already planning to level this one up by mixing in my own butterscotch chips and baking it to recreate my favorite cookie. An oatmeal scotchie with chocolate chips sounds so good.

Basic B#tch (Simple, But Slightly Oily)

This one was good, just not my top pick.

  • A little more oily than the others
  • More simple in flavor
  • Still enjoyable, just not as memorable

I’d recommend this if you want something classic and straightforward without a strong flavor profile.

WTFudge Brownie (Best Warmed Up)

This one is rich. Very chocolatey and indulgent.

But here’s the move. Warm it up and add vanilla ice cream.

That turns it into a full dessert instead of just a quick snack.

Birthday Cake (Better Baked Than Raw)

This one had a totally different feel:

  • Softer texture
  • No oats, so it’s smoother
  • Sweet, classic birthday cake flavor

It was good, but I kept thinking this one would be better baked into cookies. It just feels like it wants to be warm.

Final Thoughts

This ended up being such a fun thing to do with the kids, and something I’d actually buy again. (Pin it so you have it as an idea for later!)

Top pick: Chocolate Chip (this one is staying stocked in our fridge)
Most fun dessert idea: WTFudge Brownie warmed with ice cream
Best simple option: Basic B#tch

And the fact that it’s gluten-free, vegan, and locally made here in Arizona makes it even better.
